How to create a system report

1. Select >About This Mac from the menu
2. Click on the System Report… button
3. Select File>Save… from the menu to save the report
4. Locate the report in Finder
5. Compress it by selecting Compress from the context menu

How to locate a crash report

1. Open Finder
2. Press ⌘⇧G to open the "Go to folder" dialog
3. Type "~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports" (without the quotes), press ⏎
4. Locate the report. The name starts with the name of the application followed by a timestamp.
